Walking the Spiritual Path: What we want already is

See what you want as already existing in your life: let it be so real you can feel it, taste it, and wrap your arms around it. Then it shall be yours. Anonymous

The point of power is always in the present moment. Louise Hay

When we focus on what we want in our lives, we have to see our desire as already existing in our life, immediately, right now, this day. Wording is tricky stuff and the conscious mind — the same one who doesn’t want anything to change in our life — is good at twisting things. The Universe gives us what we say, not what we meant.

Think about any topic; let’s go with money. As you think about having enough in your bank account and all of your bills paid, when do you visualize this happening? Tomorrow? Next week? Soon? The problem is that all of these keep the financial picture you want somewhere out there, in the future. This creates a huge limitation for your soul, who knows you actually need the money right now.

In order to change things for ourselves, we have to be really clear on what we believe. We also have to be honest about any limiting beliefs we have. If we say we want financial stability, but don’t actually think we can have it, then we won’t. This is where working with a spiritual life coach can be invaluable. Someone else can see what we are blinded to about ourselves.

The universe is always waiting for us to be clear and positive in what we desire. When we are, then it can arrive in our lives without delay. This is the life we are meant to be living.

Affirmation: I have all that I need in my life, immediately, right now, this day.
