Walking the Spiritual Path June 10

Success is not final, failure is not fatal. It is the courage to continue that counts. Winston Churchill

Fall down seven times, stand up eight. Japanese Proverb

Perseverance and commitment are two critical ingredients in walking the spiritual path. Sometimes things are flow easily, and it is easy to think “Hah! I got this!” Perhaps you do; until something new and unexpected comes along to knock you off your feet.

Failure and making a mis-step are only as important as we say they are. If we let them take on world shattering importance, they can crush us. Or it can simply mean that there is another lesson to learn. The only time we stop learning is when we stop moving forward. Our spiritual path is our life’s journey. That means our journey only ends when we do. Accept there will always be lessons along the way.

Lessons are an opportunities. When we return to our higher mind and soul, we are given the guidance necessary to get back on our feet and begin moving forward again.

Affirmation: Today my life is guided by my higher mind and soul.
