If we want something different, we have to do something different. Commitment to our spiritual path doesn’t exempt us from digging into the hard stuff and making changes that challenge us. Because we doing our spiritual work we are facing the fact things need to change for us to change. We know we have to let go of old ways of doing things and old patterns of thinking.

We cannot move forward into the life our soul is here to live if we hold onto beliefs about failure, fear and not deserving. None of these limiting ideas belong to our soul. So if we genuinely want what belongs to our higher mind, we have to give up all the garbage that we have taken on as our own. It’s not ours. It’s just junk that someone else dumped on our doorstep. We made the mistake of owning it. But it’s not ours.

What belongs to our higher mind and soul belongs to us; we are the physical vessel for the divine being with us. The optimism, confidence, self love and self approval of our higher self is ours. The absolute certainty that everything is going to work out is ours. The patience and discipline to keep at it until it works is ours. The brilliant, beautiful, loving and joy filled is ours. The life of abundance, prosperity and health is ours. The life of purpose and meaning is ours. These are all ours because we are the physical form of our higher mind and soul. What belongs to our soul belongs to us.

Affirmation: I am one with my higher mind and soul. Today I embrace everything that belongs to my divine being.
