Making progress along the spiritual path means learning to trust our heart. Our heart doesn’t lie. When we choose with our heart, its the right decision for us and for our life.
The mind loves to analyze and explain. But facts and information are not wisdom. Education does not equal good judgement. Earning a degree does not confer a happy life. Relying on knowledge without wisdom and awareness can result in terrible decisions. The intellect is a fickle friend, always looking for the newest idea and trend. Intellect is easily swayed.
Facts that don’t resonate with our heart are simply someone else’s information, that may be completely false for us. Coming to this realization is a major milestone along the spiritual path.
The heart is a constant friend. Using our heart to make decisions will always lead us to choose what is good and right for us.
