This is my America, and I want my flag back. I want back this flag that is a symbol of hope, freedom, justice, equality, and opportunity for all. I want everything good this flag aspires to be. I want this symbol to be forevermore free of the evil taint of those who have tried to corrupt it with their selfish destructive ideas, and their words and laws meant to demean, debase, and divide. I want those that seek power for its own sake to be removed from any position of authority and never able to hold power over anyone else ever again.
I want equality under the law for every red, black, brown, yellow, and white woman and man. I want all people to be treated equally, and all to have the same chance to succeed, to thrive, to provide for themselves and their families.
I want all people treated equally under the law. I want the law administered by judges who rule based on the facts of the case, not upon their political or religious views.
I want the sanctity of all life that belongs to Gaia protected, in whatever form, be it plant, animal, river, ocean, air, bird, fish, or human.
I want the well being of Gaia and all her creations to be everyone’s problem.
I want fair laws for all parties. This includes the environment and the birds and beasts of this planet. I want stopped those with the most money and the loudest voice seeking to control and destroy with impunity.
I want all treaties with Native American tribes honored.
I want quality medical care to be available and affordable to all.
I want quality education and housing available to all.
I want clean water and enough to eat available to all.
I want the resources people need to build a better life for themselves and for the planet easily and plentifully available.
I want businesses that seek to heal, repair and restore Gaia to have all the resources they need to begin their mission immediately.
The Statue of Liberty reads:
Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tossed to me.
I want America to be the land of opportunity it was intended to be. I want my country back. I want my flag back too.
Happy 4th of July.
