I believe life is constantly testing us for our level of commitment, and life’s greatest rewards are reserved for those who demonstrate a never-ending commitment to act until they achieve. This level of resolve can move mountains, but it must be constant and consistent. Tony Robbins
At this point on my spiritual path, I am finding missteps become more costly. Even seemingly small missteps carry big price tags. I am seeing and experiencing the need to be completely committed to each moment. Lurking behind the whispers of “it’s ok, you’re tired” or “it’s just a few minutes of surfing the web” or even “it’s just one comment in a conversation” is nasty energy waiting to flood into my life. All it takes is one moment of losing focus and I shift from being a channel of my soul’s energy to being the channel for something else.
There are no little missteps anymore. The size of the “oops” isn’t what matters. What matters is losing my grip on my higher mind and soul. The second I do, some other energy is waiting to step into that place of control. All it takes is a tiny moment in time of losing my focus and where I am putting my attention. It is a lapse I simply cannot afford. When the warning signals arise that something is off, I need to drop everything to return to my higher mind and soul.
Affirmation: Today I keep my focus on my higher mind and soul as I go about my daily affairs.
