Walking the Spiritual Path Day 73

A real decision is measured by the fact that you’ve taken a new action.  If there’s no action, you haven’t truly decided.  Knowing is not enough.  Tony Robbins

Changing a bad habit requires more than just mentally grappling with the problem.  A person can know all the reasons they need to change, understand change is hard, perhaps even have some justifications for why they struggle so much.  Yet none of these mental gymnastics actually results in anything, as bad behaviour and self-destructive results continue.

I need to stop believing the lies of the conscious mind.   The temptation is to mentally tackle problem.  But understanding the problem in my head is not mastering it in my heart.  To completely eliminate the broken self-view of my conscious mind, I must act differently.  Action needs to be taken today, and again tomorrow, and repeated until the change is permanently fixed in my mental and emotional wiring.

Affirmation:  Today I am one with my higher mind and soul and embrace her self identify in all things.
